FOCUSING ON FINE ART CERAMIC SCULPTURE

  • WORKING ON INDIVIDUAL PROJECTS WITH A UNIQUE AND PERSONALIZED SYLLABUS DEVELOPED FOR EACH STUDENT.

  • ALMOST UNLIMITED CLAY AND FIRINGS, WITH GLAZE AND COLD FINISHES AVAILABLE.

  • VERY SMALL CLASS SIZE TO PROVIDE A MENTORSHIP STYLE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT.

  • ROLLING ENROLLMENT, CLASS STARTS WHEN YOU ARE READY AND CAN BE ONGOING.

 

6 class bundle

price=$300

Students sign up via email and pay the first day of class. Starting dates are determined on availability and student’s schedule; with rolling enrollment 6 classes can be started ANYTIME and can be ongoing, continuing on into another 6 classes. There are 2 make up days granted for sickness, etc.. Students have 8 weeks to complete 6 classes.

A great intimate space with street access. Stocked with an abundance of clay and tools. Great natural and overhead lighting with plenty of storage to make big sculpture!

Big back patio with large workspace for summer camps or when you just wanna work outside

Library and coffee station

Studio has an array of art and reference books along with coffee and tea ‘cause sometimes you need a little inspiration and some fuel to help along the creative process.

Kilns

There are 3 electric kilns for all kinds of temp ranges. Can accommodate large pieces and small testing. With one outside Gas kiln that can go to cone 10! ( not pictured)

Several backdrops and lights can capture 3D works in a range of sizes and styles.

Glazes and tools

The studio has a large collection of commercial glazes both in low and mid range temperatures, along with an almost full glaze lab to mix a batch from scratch.

street ACCESS

Located in a friendly neighborhood within walking distance of Fernhaill Park and the Alberta Arts District the studio is easily accessible from the street with lots of residential parking.

Master Ceramicist

Each class has full instruction with decades of ceramics experience. Paige offers her expertise to help you form your original personal project. With techniques ranging from fundamental building to professional development in studio practice. Click here for Resume/CV
