Come create your own sprig mold* and damp box*.

*A Sprig Mold is a flat plaster mold used to create a shallow/low relief clay decoration ( sprig) to be added to clay in a leather hard state.

*A Damp Box is a contain water proof box that keeps its environment at 100% humidity without having a water logged floor.

Students will bring home a small plaster sprig mold and a small damp box at the end of this two day workshop.

3 hours on Saturday evening (4:30-7:30) for demonstration and building.

3 hours on Sunday morning (10-1pm) for hollowing and details.

Instruction, materials and firing included in cost, pick up of sculpture three weeks later. Very limited seating of 5 students max, ages 15+, all levels and abilities welcome.
